3 decades of voluntary action
A national platform uniting voluntary organisations for faster, stronger growth
Founded by Dr. Manoj Kumar Mishra after three decades in voluntary action, COVO exists to unite India’s voluntary, non-profit organisations and related institutions — providing them expert services, training and networks so they can grow faster and serve their communities better.
- Capacity building & training for member NGOs
- Policy advocacy and representation on their behalf
- MoUs with universities, government bodies & institutions
Problems We Address in the Voluntary Sector
Thousands of grassroots NGOs across India do vital work in isolation — without the skills, funding access or policy voice to scale. COVO exists to close these gaps.
Fragmentation
NGOs work in silos with little coordination, duplicating effort and losing collective impact.
Capacity Gaps
Many voluntary organisations lack training, governance systems and technical know-how.
Limited Funding Access
Grassroots NGOs struggle to reach grants, CSR funds and institutional donors.
Weak Policy Voice
Individual NGOs rarely get a seat at the table when policies affecting them are made.
Our Services to Member Organisations
Expert support that helps NGOs and voluntary organisations grow faster and deliver more.
Training & Mentorship
Workshops, governance training and mentorship for new and emerging NGOs.
Policy & Representation
Representing member NGOs' interests before government and institutions.
